
Terence Lau, DDS, FICOI, FAACP
Dr. Terence Lau graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in 1987 and went on to obtain advanced training in Periodontal Prosthodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he was personally mentored by Drs. Ralph Youdelis, John Kois, and Frank Spear. It was during his tenure at the U of W that he obtained his first surgical experiences in Dental Implant Surgery under the direct supervision of both P.I. Branemark and Gerald Nisnick (in the same week!).
In his advanced continuing education, Dr. Lau has obtained multiple advanced training in all phases of surgical and restorative implant dentistry, occlusion, implant assisted orthodontics, regenerative periodontics, and laser dentistry. For the last 20 years, Dr. Lau has emphasized his clinical and educational focus on minimally invasive Bio-Aesthetic Implant Surgery, soft and hard tissue reconstruction and regeneration, orthodontic implantology, and laser dentistry.

Dr. Terence Lau has founded Bio-Aesthetic Implant and Laser Solutions with the goal of providing education in the field of Dental Implantology and Laser Dentistry. He has lectured nationally on a variety of topics including: Simplified Dental Implant Surgery for the General Dentist, The Placement of Short Dental Implants in Severely Resorbed Alveolar Ridges, and Incorporating Lasers in Implant Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Lau conducts a full-time, full-service general, implant, laser, and orthodontic dental practice in Northridge, CA, with his brother, Dr. Casey Lau, a graduate of UCLA Dental School.

Casey Lau, DDS
Dr. Casey Lau earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA in 2002, following the completion of his undergraduate studies. That same year, he began practicing dentistry in the Northridge area, building a valuable reputation with our patients over the years. He strives to make each patient feel at home when they come to us for treatment, and he work hard to give his patients the attention they deserve. He attends several CE courses each year to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments, and has received advanced training in implant dentistry, orthodontics, Invisalign®, and oral sedation.

Dr. Lau is truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that he has made a difference in so many of many of his patients’ lives. He couldn’t ask for a better job or for a better group of people to be sharing their smiles with him. Dr. Lau and his wife, Belinda, have two sons, Brayden and Ryan. In addition to dentistry, his passions include martial arts, and snowboarding. He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys cheering on UCLA’s football and basketball teams, the Hockey Kings, and the Lakers.

Please welcome Dr. Kayla Lau to our practice!
Dr. Kayla received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. She continued her education at USC and graduated summa cum laude with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree- all while working as a hygienist at some of the most premier dental offices in the area.
Additionally, she has spent many hours in volunteer work providing dental hygiene, dental work, and oral cancer screenings for the underserved communities in Southern California. For Dr. Kayla, connecting with her patients on a personal level is important, and she strives to bring comfort to every patient she meets.
We are so excited to have her passion for esthetic dentistry and relieving orofacial pain on our team! She pays close attention to facial balancing and does so by using a combination of dental restorations, Invisalign, as well as dermal fillers. Additionally, she provides orofacial pain relief, including that caused by temporomandibular (TMJ) dysfunction by using neurotoxins (i.e Botox).
